Matthew
18:19 Jesus said, “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about
anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven”.
We are looking for volunteers interested in
participating in the Holy Communion Lutheran Church prayer chain.
The purpose of the Holy Communion prayer
chain is to create an atmosphere where God can work in the lives and hearts of
our congregation, our families, our friends and our community. The members of
our prayer chain are sincere Christians who believe that God, in his wisdom,
will intercede on behalf of those we pray for and that he will reveal his loving
grace in their lives. The prayer chain responds to the requests made through
our congregation. We pray for members and non-members alike.
As a member of the Holy Communion Prayer
Chain you agree to the following basic statements of faith:
¨
You believe that Jesus Christ is your
personal savior and redeemer.
¨
You believe that Jesus Christ
encourages and authorizes you to pray for the welfare of his church.
¨
You believe that God answers
persistent prayer in accordance to his will and not your own.
As a member of the Holy Communion Prayer
Chain you agree to:
¨
Sincerely pray for the requests
assigned to you in a timely manner.
¨
If you are not available to receive
prayer request assignments or cannot keep your commitment to prayer, you will
notify the prayer chain captain or office.
¨
All prayer requests are considered
confidential. You will not discuss prayer requests with others.
Please consider joining this ministry and call the church office or e-mail us
at
holycomm@tds.net and we will forward your name, and number to the team
captain. This week we are especially remembering these
members in our prayers:
